Inaugural year Grant finalists celebration

Pictured are representatives of the Grant finalist.

The inaugural year of the Poway Community Foundation (PCF) concluded with a heartwarming celebration, bringing together donors and grant finalists at Templar Hall in Old Poway on Sunday, November 10, 2024. PCF’s mission is to inspire enduring philanthropy and Poway pride to promote solutions that improve the quality of life in our community.

This year, over 28 nonprofit organizations expressed interest in our grant program. The grant committee carefully reviewed detailed applications and conducted in-person interviews with 12 finalists. These nonprofits address a variety of community needs, including support for special needs, seniors, children, food insecurity, the arts, and addiction recovery. The PCF is excited to announce the grant recipients during the first week of December. In the coming year, the grant committee will follow up with the winners to track the impact of their work and share the outcomes with the community. We are inspired by the invaluable contributions these nonprofits make and are proud to call Poway home.
