We are a donor advised fund of the San Diego Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity making donations tax exempt. In addition, Poway Community Foundation is also a 501(c)(3) public charity.

Code of Conduct Policy

Applicable to Board Members and Donors

The Poway Community Foundation (“Foundation”) is entrusted with stewarding resources, leadership, donor funds and public trust for the benefit of the Poway community. This Code of Conduct Policy defines the standards of integrity, conduct, and accountability expected of Board Members and Donors to protect the Foundation’s mission, credibility, and impact.

Guiding Principles

All Donors and Board Members are expected to uphold the following principles:

  1. Integrity and honesty in all dealings related to the Foundation

  2. Respect and fairness toward staff, volunteers, partners, and community members

  3. Transparency and accountability in actions and decision-making

  4. Stewardship of public trust and the Foundation’s reputation
